INGREDIENTS

Choeng Doi Blanc • 50 ml

Fresh Pineapple Juice • 20 ml

Fresh Lime Juice • 15 ml

Coco Lopez (Cream of Coconut) • 20 ml

Bell Pepper Juice • 10 ml

Sesame Oil • 1 drop

STEPS

2. Short, hard shake

3. Strain into a chilled coup

NOTES:

Adapted from Bar Leone (Hong Kong)'s Giuseppe Lopez, originally built on Planteray 3 Stars Rum (41.2% ABV).

Choeng Doi Blanc's grassy funk holds its own against the coconut and pineapple rather than disappearing under them; volume bumped slightly from 45ml to 50ml to account for the ABV gap.

HISTORY

A savoury, vegetal take on the Piña Colada from Bar Leone (Hong Kong), rounded out with bell pepper juice and a single drop of sesame oil.
