NOTES:

A low-ABV winter aperitivo that draws inspiration from Italian and French traditions. The herbal, floral, and bitter elements work in concert to create something contemplative and elegant. Perfect before dinner or as a meditation in a glass.

Batched Version: Mix all liquid ingredients (minus ice) in a pitcher. Pour to order over fresh ice and garnish with rosemary and grapefruit.

HISTORY

This drink represents a contemporary return to aperitivo culture - low-alcohol, herbal, bittered drinks meant for relaxation and social occasion rather than intoxication. The aperitivo tradition runs deep in European cocktail history.

With SONKLIN at its heart, this drink bridges Asian and European traditions - proving that agricultural spirits work across cultural and flavor boundaries.
