Choeng Doi Distillery is a Thai craft distillery based in Chiang Dao, Northern Thailand. It produces rice and sugarcane spirits shaped by raw material, fermentation, and place, contributing to the development of a distinct contemporary category in Thai spirits.

About Choeng Doi Distillery

Choeng Doi Distillery is located in Chiang Dao, a highland agricultural district in Northern Thailand, on the edge of the Doi Luang Chiang Dao UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The distillery operates from a decades-old estate and has been licensed to distil since 2024.
 

Production is guided by a single principle: ingredients come first. All raw materials are either grown on the estate or sourced within two hours of the distillery. Spirits are shaped by the region's climate, soil, and agricultural context, rather than by formula or convention.
 

Choeng Doi currently produces two spirits: SONKLIN, a contemporary rice spirit crafted from estate-grown Khao Niew Sanpatong sticky rice, and Choeng Doi Blanc, a fresh cane juice spirit. Both are produced in small batches and available through select on-trade partners in Thailand, with international distribution planned for Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia.
